USA to play for bronze medal

USA's Brady Clark and Cristin Clark of Lynnwood, Wash., will play for the bronze medal this morning at the 2012 World Mixed Doubles Championship in Erzurum, Turkey.

The Americans (7-3) defeated China, 8-2, earlier today in the quarterfinals held at the Milli Piyango Curling Hall but then fell to undefeated Switzerland in the semifinal, 9-7. They will now face Austria (6-4) as they seek USA's first-ever medal at this event, which began in 2008. Switzerland (10-0) will play Sweden (8-2) for the gold medal. Both medal games begin at 8 a.m. CT.
